Bradford end Bury's unbeaten run with deserved winBradford ended high-flying Bury's 10-match unbeaten run in Sky Bet League One with a deserved 2-1 victory at Valley Parade. It was Bury's first away loss since January, a run of 17 matches in all competitions without tasting defeat on their travels.Northern Ireland defender Rory McArdle put Bradford in front in first-half stoppage time, timing his run into the box with perfection to meet Tony McMahon's corner and score with a powerful header.Bradford took charge in the second half and it was another McMahon corner that led to their second goal in the 51st minute and ultimately ensured only their second home win of the season.Teenage defender Reece Burke, on loan from West Ham, headed the ball towards goal and it was helped into the net by visiting midfielder Reece Brown.Only a brilliant one-handed save by Bury goalkeeper Rob Lainton prevented McMahon from increasing Bradford's lead with a 20-yard shot.An equally good save from Ben Williams denied Bury substitute Tom Pope at the other end before Danny Rose scored a consolation for the Shakers in stoppage time after Lainton's long kick was headed into his path
