A tense battle between relegation-threatened Bradford and Burton ended in a 1-1 stalemate in front of a bumper crowd.
Third-from-the-bottom Burton shook Bradford by going in front three minutes before half-time when skipper John McGrath ran on to a right-wing cross from Jimmy Phillips to score with a downward header.
However, Bradford salvaged a point with a goal from substitute Jake Speight 15 minutes from the end.
Burton failed to clear David Syers's throw-in from the right, and when striker James Hanson headed the ball into the goalmouth, the unmarked Speight lashed the ball into the net from just inside the six-yard area.
In a tense finish, Burton almost snatched victory after 83 minutes when Phillips' header was turned onto the crossbar by keeper Lenny Pidgeley, forcing a desperate Bradford defence to block Greg Pearson's shot after he seized on the rebound.
The result leaves Bradford seven points and Burton four points above the safety mark with four matches to play.
