Stuart McCall, John Hendrie, Chris Waddle, Greg Abbott, and Mark Ellis are just some of the names on the bill for a pro-celebrity match at Valley Parade this weekend.
The Bantams need #100,000 by the end of the next month to stay alive. The event is being staged as part of the Save Our City Appeal which was launched on May 14. Since then, fans and businesses have already collected more than #50,000.
McCall told the Telegraph and Argus:``Nobody can imagine what it will be like if City ceases to exist.
``We are keeping our fingers crossed that there is somebody out there who is prepared to give City some potential backing.''
The match will take place at 1pm on May 30.
