City must wait for outcome of court case

Former chairman Gordon Gibb is mounting a legal bid to challenge a financial agreement for creditors.
That is now set to go before a judge at the High Court next month, effectively preventing the Bantams from ending their second spell in administration until the matter is resolved.
When a Company Voluntary Arrangement was drawn up in August, the repayment plan was sanctioned by a clear majority.
All the creditors then had a period of just under five weeks until September 22 to oppose the package.
Had there been no objections up to that point, City may well have been in a position to run its own affairs again for the first time since February.
But Mr Gibb beat the clock in time to bring about court proceedings on behalf of his pension fund which had rejected the CVA when it was originally made.
