Sasa Ilic and Dean Gorre teamed up with the second XI that played at Millmoor fours days ago. Neither player is currently under contract after leaving Blackpool.
Serbian stopper Ilic struggled to shine under former boss Colin Hendry, making just three league starts for the seaside club this season.
But Gorre, who previously enjoyed spells with Ajax and Huddersfield Town, fared even worse.
The midfielder could only muster one appearance as a substitute before his departure from Bloomfield Road.
