John Mousinho converted a 37th-minute openalty after Steve Williams was adjudged to have fouled Stacy Long and although the visitors equalised through David Syers in the 72nd minute, Darius Charles fired home the winner from 12 yards two minutes later.
Jackson said: "It's a quiet dressing room, no doubt about that. We've shown good form of late, but that's definitely a setback for us.
"I can't question anybody's commitment though. The lads always give everything and the amount of effort has never been in question.
"We've managed a few decent results, but now it's going to be about trying to recharge the batteries and going again.
"There's still points there to play for, and plenty of them, so I guess it's down to me to start rallying the troops again. It's been a tough old spell for us, but there's plenty of quality in the squad. We'll be ok."
