"Ash thought he'd snapped something in his knee but (physio) Steve Redmond has had a look at it and thinks it's a cartilage problem," said Law.
"But it will need an operation which means he will be out for six weeks."
"With the suspensions as well, we're going to have to look for someone," Law told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus newspaper.
"But you can only have four loans at one time anyway and with us struggling to finance them it's going to be difficult."
