Bradford boss Peter Taylor has revealed he dropped Steve Williams for last week's home win over Stevenage for breaking club rules on reporting injuries. Williams was outstanding in the Carling Cup win over Nottingham Forest but was left out altogether the following Saturday as punishment for being "unprofessional". Taylor told the Telegraph & Argus: "The players had the Wednesday off after Forest but if anybody's injured they've got to inform the physio at the end of the game or - if they've woken up in pain - at the latest the following morning. "One rule I've got is that there's no way players can get a day off if they then can't train the next day. "He had got Wednesday off quite rightly having done well in the Forest game but then you've got to be training again on the Thursday. "Then he rang later on that Wednesday to say his hamstring was tight. I don't like that. It's unprofessional and that cost him his place."
