Peter Taylor has not ruled out a promotion challenge after Bradford clinched only their third league win of the season over the weekend at Barnet. The Bantams manager was under considerable pressure before taking his squad south. City had slipped to second from bottom in the table with one victory in eight matches, while the 2-0 win at Underhill was their first away success in the league this season. Taylor said: "I've said to the players I'm looking for promotion not relegation and I still think we're very capable of kicking on. "I have kept saying we're a touch away, but some of the performances have been so inconsistent you never know what we're going to do. "It's about producing it on a regular basis now because that's what good teams do. "There were so many good performances and I told the players to think really hard about why they played well and make sure they take that on board and do it again this Saturday."
