Bradford trialist Chris Simm is desperate to get a second chance of plying his trade in the Football League. The 26-year-old, who has scored 40 goals in the last two seasons for Southport, turned down a professional contract with Wrexham two years ago and insists he is not too old to start again. Simm told the club's official website: "I'm realistic about it but I know that I'm good enough. It's just a case of somebody giving me that opportunity and Bradford would be a great place to start. "Wrexham offered to sign me but it just wasn't enough money. You've got to weigh everything up and I had the chance of playing part-time with decent money as well as working. "I've got a family with two little kiddies and I couldn't throw everything away. I could have found myself 300-400 quid a week down for the sake of playing in the league. "At that time it wasn't right. But the situation is a bit different now and hopefully I can sort something out here."
