Bradford manager Peter Taylor has no injury concerns ahead of the first game of the season.
On-loan striker Louis Moult and fellow new signing Lewis Hunt are pushing for starts whilst Simon Ramsden takes over as captain.
Bradford City boss Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds: "There has been a lot of good things in pre-season, but a few frustrating things too with a few injuries and bad results. But overall it's been OK.
"I'm pleased with the squad we have put together, a few haven't played enough in pre-season, but things remain OK despite that.
"If I had everyone fit I would know my starting team for Saturday, but with a few injuries and people not match fit I still have to make a decision on a few players after I've judged if they are ready to play or not.
"They are all hungry to play and raring to go, so that is pleasing to see."
