The defender returned as a 78th-minute substitute in Saturday`s 2-1 defeat at Stevenage having missed the previous game against Shrewsbury with a hamstring injury that was expected to rule him out for three weeks.
He came through the run-out unscathed and should take his place in central defence.
His return is a boost to interim boss Peter Jackson who has had to play midfielder David Syers at right-back and move regular right-sided defender Lewis Hunt into the centre in recent games.
Fellow defenders Simon Ramsden (thigh) and Shane Duff (calf) remain sidelined, while up front Jackson has vowed to rejig his attack with Chib Chilaka, Jake Speight and Scott Dobie fighting it out to partner James Hanson.
On-loan Rotherham winger Kevin Ellison is still missing with his thigh problem but could return on Saturday while the match comes too soon for Tommy Doherty who is short of match fitness following his three-month lay-off with an ankle problem.
