Bradford could hand midfielder Lee Hendrie his first start after he made his debut as a substitute last weekend.
On-loan midfielder Tom Adeyemi (toe) could return on the bench while fellow-midfielder David Syers has shaken off a back problem and could be involved.
Bradford City manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds: "They [Northampton] worked exceptionally hard [in winning at Liverpool] and I'm sure the manager is very proud of them because they put in a tremendous performance and deserved the win.
"Selfishly I was delighted they had extra time because they had to work hard to get that result, and I'm sure some players will feel it a little bit on Saturday.
"Maybe the last half hour of the game is an area where I think we could take advantage, but it's all about what happens in that first hour."
