But the Bradford boss, whose side face Lincoln this weekend, believes his side can take heart from their performance in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Bury.
He told the Telegraph & Argus: "The way the players are performing certainly doesn't represent where we are in the league table. It's got to change.
"We go to Lincoln next week and we need a win. Play like we did at Bury and I'll be happy."
Meanwhile, the recently postponed clash with Notts County has been re-arranged for Tuesday March 23.
