Jackson, who began his playing career with the Bantams, was installed as Peter Taylor's successor on a week-to-week basis last weekend.
He is boosted by having no new injury or suspension problems, although skipper Simon Ramsden remains sidelined with a thigh strain and midfielder Tommy Doherty is still recovering from an ankle operation.
Jackson saw a strong reserve team trounce Port Vale in midweek and strikers Gareth Evans, Scott Dobie and Jake Speight all staked their claims for a return to the starting line-up.
Evans scored twice and Speight was also on target, along with Leon Osborne, while Jon Worthington, skipper at Huddersfield when Jackson was at the helm, is pushing for a recall.
Striker James Hanson (groin) and midfielder David Syers (hamstring) suffered no reaction after returning to the side last week following injury.
