Skipper Simon Ramsden (hip/calf) was due to make his first appearance of the season in Saturday's postponed match at Macclesfield, Michael Flynn has only just returned from a long-term hernia problem and Tommy Doherty (ankle), Lee Bullock (thigh) and Steve Williams (hamstring) are among those still sidelined.
Taylor told the Telegraph & Argus: "We're still without four players - Doherty, Bullock, Williams and Leon Osborne. I keep seeing these teams putting the same side out every week and it drives you mad."
Taylor is hoping the return of those experienced players will see the Bantams start to climb back up the table.
He added: "When Bradford stayed in the Premier League, they were known as `Dad's Army' because they had a lot of older, experienced players. But I think you need that here.
"It's a big club and there is bigger expectancy on the team. It's not just about playing the games, but handling everything else and that's not easy for young lads coming in."
