Bradford have assured fans their home clash with Bury on Saturday is not in doubt due to the midweek snowfall. The Valley Parade pitch has a light covering of snow, but head groundsman Mick Doyle expects it to be cleared by Friday and insists the pitch will remain perfectly playable. A club spokesman said: "The sight of snow on the pitch usually causes murmurs among supporters regarding the prospects of play for the weekend's match. "But once the formality of clearing the snow is completed, there seems no reason why the Bantams match with Bury should not go ahead as planned this Saturday."
