The Bradford manager Peter Taylor believes the improved fitness of his players is behind his side's surge up the npower League Two table. The Bantams slumped into the bottom two following a 1-0 home defeat to Morecambe on October 2, but four wins in their next five league matches - the latest a 1-0 win at high-flying Bury on Tuesday - has seen them climb to 10th, three points off the play-offs. Taylor said: "Five or six games ago, I don't think we worked as hard as we did the other night. "That was probably the case for the first half dozen matches of the season and that's not good enough for us. "But now we're doing that and we are looking better players for it."
