Fulham midfielder Simon Davies hopes the club do all they can to hang on to Mark Schwarzer during the January transfer window. The 37-year-old goalkeeper looked set for a £2.5million move to Arsenal in the summer, only for the deal to fall through as Fulham stood their ground. Davies has just signed a new deal keeping him at Craven Cottage until 2013 and hopes the veteran Australian will also stay on with Mark Hughes' squad. "I am sure they are speaking to Mark," Davies said. "There is no doubting his ability and what he has done for the club. It is a no-brainer about trying to keep him, and I hope he stays."
