Northampton could include defenders Dean Beckwith and Liam Davis, who have both recovered from injuries.
Strikers Leon McKenzie (knee) and Billy McKay (dislocated elbow) will again both miss out.
Bradford interim manager Peter Jackson told BBC Radio Leeds: "We're playing a team that's struggling, in their last 10 games they've drawn six and lost four, but they'll also be thinking that one result can turn their season.
"If we play to our full capabilities then we'll beat them. It's important that we put a run together and we're well capable of doing that, particularly with two home games.
"I need more results under my belt, but I'm happy with the situation - all managers are under pressure, but particularly myself with not being on contract and taking it game by game."
Northampton Town manager Gary Johnson told BBC Look East:
Johnson calls for 'group of winners'
"We need a group of winners from here on in. They've got into that habit of not winning for a little while.
"They need to bring their best game out, their winning mentality and there is enough ability amongst them to get some results between now and the end of the season.
"We will be successful next season. But we have to earn it."
