Hereford midfielder James McQuilkin (hamstring) and club captain Janos Kovacs (shoulder) both return.
But Ryan Green is suspended and Richard Rose and Rob Purdie both miss out through illness.
Bradford City manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds: "I think the players will be really looking forward to the match, it's a game that if we play the way we can, then we can win the game.
"I'm looking for us to be positive, I'm looking for players to have a bit more of a hunger for that ball because they haven't had a league match for three weeks.
"I've got no worries about the fitness of the players, I'm sure that everybody will be looking forward to playing and I would hope the boys are raring to go and show that in the first five minutes."
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Tony James going back [to Burton after his loan spell] was very disruptive to us and we haven't fielded a settled side like we did in my first five games in charge.
"We know what happened in those first five games - it was a settled side and we played well and started getting results.
"Then in the last few days you start getting illnesses and again it is going to affect us."
