Stockport and Bradford shared the points with a 1-1 draw at Edgeley Park in a game which both sides may feel they should have won. Bradford were under pressure for nearly an hour from a Stockport side high in confidence following their first league victory since February last week, but Paul Simpson's men could not find the breakthrough. And the Bantams went ahead with their first meaningful attack of the second half when Jake Speight got to the byline and put in a cross which David Syers blasted high into the net. The home pressure had continued after Syers' opener and Stockport were finally rewarded after 80 minutes when leading scorer, George Donnelly, gave the home side a deserved equaliser after a short corner and a pinpoint cross from Adam Griffin. The point ends a sequence of three consecutive 2-0 defeats for Bradford, while County can take comfort from the fact that they have claimed four points in the last two games.
