Bradford have been handed a major boost after James Hanson's three-match ban was overturned by the Football Association following an appeal. The striker was originally set to miss Tuesday's trip to Bury along with matches against Colchester and Wycombe after being shown a straight red during Saturday's emphatic victory over Oxford. However, the Bantams elected to appeal the dismissal on the grounds of wrongful dismissal. And a club statement read: "To the Bantams` delight, a Football Association disciplinary panel decided on Tuesday afternoon to scrub out Hanson's red card and allow the striker to play on without a suspension."
